    I ferment just about everything. Fermented vegetables (and fruit) are addictive. Also it means there is no waste and I Iove the convenience of having ready to eat food items. Delicious with crunchy Sea Tangle kelp noodles. My all time favourite is fermented tomatoes. I got the recipe from here, but cut my tomatoes in half and added dill: http://effortnesslessly.blogspot.co.nz/2012/05/whole-tomatoes-fermented-in-brine.html The tomatoes become really zingy, and the brine is quite delicious once the fermentation process has set in.
