I’d like to know what the Recommended Daily Amount (RDA) is for this supplement as quite often, commercial preparations supply far less and are thus ineffective, not to mention a waste of money!! 🙂 So minimum dosage information is quite important. Thanks.

    • Hi Lynda – we hope you had a lovely Christmas and wish you a Happy New Year! Our naturopath, Kristie, has this reply for you …
Rhodiola is a herb that you don’t want to take too much of as it can start to have the opposite to its desired effect. You can become irritable, have poor sleep etc. The recommended dose differs depending on the amount of active constituents in the herb. The Radiance Rhodiola Adaptostress has high levels of the active constituents, rosavins, and it is a quality product, so I would just stay with the recommended dose on the bottle for this one. Start on the lowest dose – 1 per day. As this is a Chinese herb, I do not have specific information on the minimum dose. Dr Andrew Weil’s website suggests to start with 100mg per day for a week and build up to 400mg. This is difficult to compare with the Radiance product which states it has a 5000mg extract (from the dried herb).

We hope this helps. Kind regards, Anya
