Have just purchased the BioBalance liposomal C . It says to take on an empty stomach. How long do I then have to wait before I can eat? Also how long after eating is your stomach considered to be empty?

Hi Karen, thanks for your really good questions! Our BioBalance Naturopath, Carolyn Simon offers the following advice “After eating its best to wait at least half an hour before taking a supplement that’s better absorbed on an empty stomach. Likewise, taking it half an hour before eating gives your body time to absorb it without the digestion process interfering.” Best wishes and thanks again for your comment, Toni (HealthPost)

Hi, I am trying to understand the difference between the two different powder versions of Vit C that clinicians have. Can you give me more details about the pros and cons of either product? I am not sure which one to get.
    Thank you

    • Hi Laura. The Super Family C has 1000mg total Vit C with B2, plus Bioflavanoids – so its suitable for regular use to keep immunity high and support general health. The Hi-Dose Vit C is over 3 times the strength than the Super Family C 3550mg of Vit C complex and B2. This would be best in conditions where the body needs extra support when fighting an infection or illness.

Both are well tolerated by the digestive system as they are the buffered form of ascorbic acid and sodium ascorbate. We hope this helps you decide which one is more suited to your needs. Healthy wishes, the HealthPost team.
